This May, you can experience the work of over 250 artists under one roof in Toronto.

Back for 2025, Artist Project is running from May 8 to 11 at Exhibition Place’s Better Living Centre. It’s a prime opportunity to meet emerging artists, discover and purchase incredible work, and let your emotions come alive in a stimulating environment designed to spark enriching conversations and foster a personal connection with art.

Art by the thousands

Over 250 artists will showcase thousands of pieces from vibrant paintings to thoughtful sculptures and everything in between.

artist projectWander the showcase and explore 24 jaw-dropping large-scale installations that connect to themes like climate, consumerism, heritage, tradition, and more. After all, art is about than just seeing — it’s about understanding, and the best way to do that is to immerse yourself in the project the way the artist intended.

To get the full experience, take a tour with an art expert for insider insight and a new perspective. There are so many ways to experience art!

Untapped emerging artists

While you’re at Artist Project, be sure to keep an eye out for the Untapped Emerging Artists. The Untapped Emerging Artists Competition allows students, new graduates, and self-taught artists to showcase their art for free while giving them a platform to spark connections in the world of contemporary art.

Visitors can vote for their favourite artist, and the winner will receive automatic acceptance into next year’s Artist Project fair and $1,000 to put toward booth fees. This means your vote could help an up-and-coming artist gain some footing in the professional sphere.

First through the door

Be the first to experience what all the hype is about at Artist Project Opening Night, happening Thursday, May 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. It’s your prime opportunity to meet the artists and purchase artwork, while getting to see what Artist Project is all about.
