PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Fine arts took center stage Thursday evening at Deer Point Elementary.
Students of all grade levels displayed artwork, music, and dance routines from different countries they’ve studied this year. Newschannel 7 is told every year students learn about a new culture and this year, kindergarten through third grade studied South American culture. Fourth graders studied the history and culture of Florida. While fifth graders took on a broader approach and studied the history and culture of the United States all from an art perspective.
