A Burnham-On-Sea tattoo artist scooped one of the top places at the first Yeovil tattoo fest convention held over the weekend.
Dan Lewis runs New Beginnings Tattoo Studio at 7 College Street in Burnham-On-Sea, which opened earlier this year.
“The first Yeovil tattoo fest tattoo convention hosted a numerous amount of talented local artists at the Yeovil football ground, Huish Park,” says Dan.
“I took part and came away with third place in the best of day (Saturday) category for this neo Japanese wukong tattoo. This is yet another award to add to the ever growing awards cabinet!”
Dan says he was also proud to have been invited by the show’s main organiser Georgie Leigh to be a judge for the event on the Sunday also where he and two other talented artists chose the days best tattoos.
Dan adds: “It’s been a pleasure to work at such a fun and well run convention, making some amazing new friends. It was an absolute honour to be asked to judge the show.”
