Nathalie Guinamard and Tony Allcock will both be sharing their artistic expertise with group members.
Nathalie, an award-winning figurative artist, will be showcasing her skills in ink work.
She will give a demonstration on Wednesday, September 17, in Foakes Hall, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
She studied fine art at the Ruskin School of Drawing and went on to complete a postgraduate diploma at Chelsea College of Art.
Her extensive career includes being shortlisted for several prestigious awards, including the Jerwood Drawing Prize, the National Open Art Competition, and the ING Discerning Eye.
Her work has featured in a number of exhibitions, including ARTfutures, the Red Mansion Art Prize exhibition and Alan Cristea Gallery.
She was also one of 30 artists commissioned by the Royal Mail in 2012 to design a special edition stamp commemorating the London Olympic Games.
Tony Allcock will also be offering two classes on watercolour and acrylic painting.
A semi-expressionist artist, Tony paints a range of different styles, aiming to constantly challenge himself with different subjects.
He paints in watercolour, acrylic, goache, oil and also digitally, and has painted several book covers for science fiction and fantasy novels.
Originating from Nottingham, Tony has exhibited in numerous galleries within his hometown and further in Hertfordshire, Essex, and the Parisian Le Centre International d’Art Contemporain.
He also won the artist prize at the 2018 Leeds Comicon, leading to his work being published in the comic 2000AD, and was featured in the TV show Landscape Artist of the Year.
Tony’s classes will take place between 1pm and 3pm on Monday, September 15, and Monday, September 22, also at Foakes Hall.
The cost for entry to both events is £1 for members of Dunmow Art Group and £10 for non-members.
Dunmow Art Group has a long history of supporting artists and art lovers in and around Dunmow.
The club has a regular programme of weekly art meetings and monthly visiting artists.
