The leading luxury art and antiques fair returns to Berkeley Square

This autumn, Mayfair’s Berkeley Square will once again play host to one of London’s most refined cultural events of the season. From 28 October – 2 November 2025, the LAPADA art and antiques fair returns with its most dynamic programme yet. A celebration of luxury art, antiques, interior design and jewellery, showcased by more than 80 distinguished dealers from across the UK and beyond, this is definitely one to mark in your calendars now.

Established in 1974, LAPADA (the Association of Art and Antique Dealers) is the largest society of professional art and antique dealers in the UK. Its members are experts across a wide range of creative disciplines, spanning contemporary and fine art, jewellery, furniture, sculpture and ceramics – and this annual event represents the pinnacle of its work. It also offers art aficionados, connoisseurs, collectors and the culturally curious an unmissable week of discovery, inspiration, skilled craftsmanship and variety, set amidst an iconic London landmark.

This year, the event is sporting a new look and an ambitious events programme. On arrival, visitors will be greeted by a new mesmerising visual identity, with Berkeley Square’s marquee wrapped inside and out in Carnival Bloom: a bespoke commission by Adam Ellis Studio, the acclaimed design house behind installations at Harrods, Annabel’s and The Savoy Florence. Inspired by botany, zoology and antique printmaking, the vibrant illustrations will frame the fair in deep autumnal hues of gold, fiery reds and jewel tones. Step inside, and a softer palette will offer a refined backdrop for you to focus on exploring.

Marking the centenary of the Art Deco movement, LAPADA 2025 will present a curated celebration of the style that defined an age of glamour and modernity. From bold posters and precious porcelain to elegant glassware and modernist figurines, a curated display will capture the flair and allure of an artistic movement that went on to influence interiors, fashion and architecture worldwide.

Serhat Ahmet, decorative arts specialist and BBC Antiques Roadshow expert, will be on hand to present rare European pieces, including a Sèvres vase designed for the 1924 Paris Olympics and a dramatic pair of Meissen horse models by Max Esser dating back to 1928. Other highlights include Jeroen Markies Art Deco’s exhibition of elegant period furniture, glassware and sculptures and AntikBar’s display of an original 1935 Monaco Grand Prix poster by Geo Ham, priced at £37,000.

Elizabeth Shanks, CEO of LAPADA, says: “The 100th anniversary of Art Deco gives us a perfect opportunity to showcase some of the finest design objects from the 20th century. We’re proud to present exceptional dealers like Serhat Ahmet, AntikBar and M&D Moir, among many others, whose collections offer both connoisseurs and curious newcomers a chance to discover Deco at its most captivating.”

Also new for 2025 is Haute Jewels London, which will join forces with LAPADA for the first time, presenting an elite collection from some of the world’s leading high jewellery houses. Featuring exclusive and one-of-a-kind pieces that are not available anywhere else in London, this wonderful showcase will be located opposite the world-famous Annabel’s members’ club and marks a key moment for both jewellery and art dealers.

LAPADA

Elsewhere, LAPADA welcomes a compelling mix of world-class exhibitors, from returning favourites to exciting newcomers, each offering a breadth of skill, creative genius and exquisite outcomes across different mediums. Butchoff Antiques will be back with its largest ever stand while Whitford Fine Art’s makes its grand return after a decade. Look out for newcomers such as Gladwell & Patterson (London’s oldest gallery), Portland Gallery and first-time exhibitor Jay Arenski.

Whether you’re an established collector, aspiring designer, or simply indulging your creative curiosity, LAPADA 2025 offers a cultural experience like no other. Shanks adds: “LAPADA has always been about discovering the unique and the eclectic – for seasoned collectors and new audiences alike. This year, with the centenary of Art Deco, our partnership with Haute Jewels, and the creative vision of Adam Ellis Studio, we are raising the bar even further. The 2025 Fair will be a destination not only for acquisitions, but for inspiration.”
