Since first uploading in 2023, Jacob has received extensive support from Introducing and the wider BBC after being played on BBC Introducing in Scotland.
Soon after that first play they took to the stage at Glasgow’s Iconic Barrowlands as part of Tenement Trail to perform on behalf of BBC Music Introducing in Scotland.
Then in 2024 they played live at BBC Introducing’s national showcase at the Lower Third in London before being invited to record a session for the Scotland team. In November of that year they performed a show-stopping version of Fairy in A Bottle on Later… with Jools Holland.
Jacob has followed up that breakthrough year with even more success in 2025 including performing on the Introducing Stage at Glastonbury, a performance at the Mercury Music Awards from their Mercury shortlisted debut album and being named one of 6 Music Artists of the Year.
