SALEM — Orders are open for the Burchfield Homestead Society’s 2026 fine art calendar.

According to a press release, the Burchfield Homestead Society has created a fine art calendar featuring the work of 12 local artists “in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday and in remembrance of the artistic inspiration that Charles Burchfield continues to elicit.” The calendar will feature “frame-worthy, giclee prints” of original paintings by: Keith Berger, Maggie Berthold Fearn, Kristina Danklef, Anissa A. DiLeo, Shari Fry, Katherine Gray Farthing, Chris Leeper, Grant Menough, Bob McElroy, Ron Roberts, Barbara Yonkers, Craig Wetzel.

“This is a time to celebrate the Burchfield Homestead Society and its long-lived history in Salem in partnership with local artist friends who continue to find inspiration from Burchfield and the house and a time to let people know the Burchfield Homestead Society is an active part of the America 250 Creativity Trail,” said Burchfield Homestead Society President Sara Baer.

The limited-edition calendars are available for a contribution of $100 each, and orders may be placed by mailing donation checks to the Burchfield Homestead Society at 867 E. Fourth St., Salem, OH 44460, or by calling Baer at 330-277-3061. Baer said that since orders opened on Dec. 1, they have been “already been brisk” and that the Homestead Society expects the calendars to sell out before Christmas.

The release also notes that several of the featured artists “are also donating their works for a springtime art show and auction that will benefit the Burchfield Homestead Society.” The art show and auction will be held on May 2 as part of the Day of Arts in Culture in Downtown Salem and will be held “in the newly renovated G.C. Murphy Shop at the corner of Broadway and East State in Downtown Salem.”

Baer said that while a specific time has not been set for the art show and auction that it would be held in the evening and would also be held in conjunction with the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Creative Arts Expo.

For any questions or additional information, contact Baer at 330-277-3061.
