The exhibition will run at Barlow Fine Art in Thornham from April 2 to 18.

It will feature works by acclaimed artists Robert King RI RSMA and Chrissie Birchall PVP SWA.

Mr King’s pieces include beach scenes, interiors, figurative works and views of The Solent.

“Robert King’s work is very light and also very full of light, which lends itself beautifully to a spring exhibition,” Toby Barlow, of Barlow Fine Art, said.

Chrissie Birchall, who works primarily in oils, is recognised for her still life paintings of flowers and fruit, inspired by 18th and 19th century artists.

Mr Barlow said: “Chrissie’s work is really new, we have never shown her before.

“Chrissie has featured at the Royal Academy Summer Show and is a past vice president of the Society of Women’s Artists, and we are thrilled to show her works here at Barlow Fine Art in Thornham.”

The gallery will also host a wine tasting in partnership with neighbouring business VinedMe on April 9.

People can try four wines at the heart of the exhibition.

Tickets are available online now.
