The Fine Arts Association have announced a visit by Valerie Ringrose, Head of Business Development at Business to Arts Ireland.

A statement from the Fine Arts Gallery follows below:

Business to Arts Ireland is a leading charitable organisation that brings together the business world and the arts and cultural sector throughout Ireland. The organisation advises businesses on how to engage effectively with the arts for the mutual benefit of business, artists, cultural organisations, and society as a whole. Their work includes sponsorship strategy, commissioning artists, public art projects, and helping arts organisations diversify their income streams.

The Fine Arts Association has organised this visit in the hope that we may gain insight into the innovative work being carried out in Ireland and explore how some of these ideas could be adapted locally. Gibraltar already enjoys significant individual corporate sponsorship of the arts, and this visit may inspire discussion on the possible need for a new privately funded body to help advise on and coordinate business and arts partnerships within Gibraltar.

Valerie Ringrose will deliver a twenty-minute presentation on the work of Business to Arts Ireland, including an additional overview of how the Irish Tax Exemption System for Artists operates in Ireland.

Fine Arts Association Gallery, Casemates Square

Thursday 21st May

4:00pm

All those with an interest in the arts, culture, and business collaboration are warmly invited to attend.

Valerie Ringrose will also be available for half hour meetings from Wednesday 20th May to Friday 22nd till 1pm. Meetings can be held at your office or a central cafe!

Ireland does a lot for all the Arts!
