Boca Raton, FL – May 12, 2026 – The Boca Raton Public Library presents a new art exhibit, “Fine Art Photography,” by artist Art Jacoby. Jacoby has been interested in photography for most of his life, having read through photo magazines, owned cameras, and taken pictures since his early days. Currently focusing on Infrared Photography and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), Jacoby has been published in Black and White Magazine and the International Color Awards. He has also previously exhibited in a variety of locations, such as the Boca Raton Museum of Art and Mad Arts Gallery.

More recently, Jacoby has taken up further serious study of the digital darkroom and digital medium of photography. He notes, “the camera and post-processing are tools that the photographer/artist uses to create and share his/her vision. For me, there are no limits on what makes an acceptable image.” His images depict dynamic subjects in motion, using vivid color and strategic blur to communicate a high depth of emotion in all his subjects.

“Fine Art Photography”, a free exhibit, will run from June 1, 2026 through July 6, 2026 at the Downtown Library, 400 NW 2nd Avenue, during regular library hours.
