LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Councilwoman Josie Raymond is looking for artists for three new community mural projects.

Applications are open now for individual artists or artist teams.

Three projects are receiving $10,000 in funding through a $30,000 Neighborhood Development Fund investment in public art in District 10. The artwork could be displayed in one of several neighborhoods.

“I’m proud to represent vibrant neighborhoods including Klondike, Buechel, Camp Taylor, and Audubon, and look forward to adding more markers to our area on Louisville’s public art map,” said Councilwoman Raymond. “Public art has the power to transform everyday spaces into places of connection and pride. When we invest in local artists, we’re not just adding color, we’re celebrating the creativity and spirit of District 10.”

Individual artists and artist teams from the Greater Kentuckiana area are eligible to apply. For a link to apply, click here.

Applications are due by March 26.
