Produced by A Sketch of New York Productions Inc., the fast-paced, episodic sketch revue examines contemporary New York life. Since debuting in 2016, the production has mounted over 220 distinct runs in Manhattan. Santos Cordero joins the ensemble to provide physical theater precision and specialized movement within the fast-paced staging layout.

Santos Cordero completed professional training at the Toronto Film School and The Second City in Canada before completing the conservatory program at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City. As a core company member of The American Mime Theatre, which was established in 1952, they specialize in the American Mime Technique under Artistic Director Janet Carafa. Santos Cordero recently performed the archival duet Music Box at the AMT Mime Cabaret on Sunday, May 17, 2026, to a maximum-capacity, sold-out crowd.

Their performance history includes regional and international stage work. Santos Cordero played the leading role in Stop Kiss with 5C Productions, a performance featured on Ecuador’s broadcast networks Unsión TV (on the program En Familia) and Radio Cómplice FM (on the cultural showcase Fusión).

Additional New York credits include performing as Angelo in The Comedy of Errors with the Staten Island Shakespeare Company and performing as an ensemble member at the TEDxCUNY conference at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater, presenting the repertoire piece Sludge and premiering the company work Next Stop.

Internationally, Santos Cordero performed a multi-role track as The Moon, The Servant, and the Mother-in-Law in an independent Canadian staging of Blood Wedding at Toronto’s Pia Bouman Theatre. The production was directed by Sue Miner, whose career credits include co-adapting the Dora Mavor Moore Award-winning Love You Forever and More Munsch for Young People’s Theatre, directing the Chalmers Award-winning Belonging, and receiving a Jim Henson Citation of Excellence in the Art of Puppetry.

On screen, Santos Cordero appeared in the narrative project Toothless for the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and the short film Mariah ¡qué baile!, which was selected for festival screenings across Canada and the United States.
