Joe Hendry wants one Detroit native in his corner at TNA Bound for Glory.

At Bound for Glory on October 26th, Hendry is set to face off against Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship. The show will emanate from the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, MI, and Hendry took to social media to extend an invitation to Detroit native Eminem to be in his corner for the blockbuster match. Hendry wrote first:

Hey @Eminem

You are officially invited to be in my corner in Detroit at TNA BFG

How many like does this need?

The star then quoted the post with parody lyrics to Eminem’s My Name Is:

Hi, my name is, what? My name is, who? My name is,
Joe Hendry

Hi, my name is, My name is, what?
My name is,
Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry Plans To Become The “Face” Of TNA

In a digital exclusive promo segment recorded after his match with Josh Alexander at Victory Road, Hendry shared how he now wants to be the face of the promotion and how he plans to achieve it.

All jokes aside, tonight, I made a statement by beating one of the very best wrestlers to ever lace up, a pair of boots in this company. Next, there is only one thing for Joe Hendry, I believe that I am the face of TNA, but to prove it, I have to win the World Title, and that is what’s next for Joe Hendry.”

Hendry also recently revealed his aspirations to have a number one Christmas song when he releases an upcoming single.
