German stallion station and breeding farm, Gestut von Bellin, has moved two of its well known dressage horses in training with new riders.

Most Wanted Nero

The 6-year old KWPN bred Most Wanted Nero is by Morricone x Donnerball x Wolkentanz II.

He was originally named Nero Hoksehoeve and breeder Carla Bruin presented him at the 2021 KWPN Stallion Licensing, where he did not get approved.

Acquired by Monic Schmidheiny of Gestut von Bellin, the stallion was licensed in Germany for DSP, Hanover, Mecklenburg, Oldenburg and Westfalen. In the 2022 Stallion Sport test in Verden he scored 8,38 points. In his 2023 sport test in Munster-Handorf he scored 8.41 points.

Most Wanted Nero stood up for stud at Gestut Staffelde in Teltow and was competed in Germany by German based Belgian Bart Desender. At the 2022 Pavo Cup finals he was seventh under Bart Veeze, in 2023 he was 8th in the Pavo Cup finals under Desender.

Most Wanted Nero briefly was in training with Simone Pearce, but now relocated to Helgstrand Germany to be trained by Leonie Richter. He will not to be sold; the plan is for him to be produced to FEI level. Richter got him a few weeks ago.

Also Von Bellin’s 10-year old Hanoverian gelding Fine Art (by Fidertanz x De Niro x Hohenstein) has moved into training with a new rider.

Bred by Christian Soetebeer, he sold to Schmidheiny as a 4-year old for 70,000 euro at the 2018 Klosterhof Medingen Auction. The ride was allocated to Bart Desender, who produced and competed the gelding up to S-level until the summer of 2023. At the 2019 Bundeschampionate they were 36th in the 5-yo consolation class.

After Desender decided to go independent, Fine Art moved to Simone Pearce. She premiered hum at S** level in Winterlingen in May 2024 and rode the CDI’s in Jardy and Aachen with him.

Fine Art has also been put in training with a new, young rider, who remains unnamed.
