Coco Gauff and her boyfriend Jalen Sera once again exemplify the meaning of the ultimate couple goals! From cozy dinner dates to heartwarming birthday shout-outs, they keep raising the bar of expression of love — and fans still can’t get enough. But this time, all eyes are on Gauff for something a bit different. The young American star just received a surprise honor that has everyone talking, and her boyfriend couldn’t be prouder.

As the American sensation prepares for the WTA Finals in Riyadh next week, she has received a magnanimous surprise on Saturday morning. The latest track– Thought I was Dead by Tyler, the Creator from his upcoming album Chromakopia mentions the name of the star player with a subtle hint at her strong serving skill. The news received grand appreciation from the fans and one of those is none other than her boyfriend Sera.

Taking to his Instagram story on Saturday, Sera posted the original video from Tyler’s Instagram post and wrote, “YACGYCSM,” signifying his extreme happiness and loss for words. In the third track released by the American rapper on October 26 for the album, Gauff‘s tennis prowess takes center stage. Around the 28-second mark, fans can hear Tyler rapping, “B**ch, you ain’t Coco Gauff, you can’t serve me.” This did not just mesmerize Sera but also took the tennis star by surprise.

Earlier, Coco Gauff took to her story and highlighted how elated she was about the latest feature. “Me finishing practice to being mentioned on a Tyler song. This is absolutely insane,” Gauff wrote. She also responded in the comment section of the original post, “me waking up today on tyler song wtf.” This, however, is not the first time when Sera has openly expressed his support for Gauff.

After her amazing victory against Elina Svitolina in this year’s US Open, Gauff took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from her match captioning, “moments like this,” followed by a burning fire emoji. This quickly drew reaction from Jalen Sera who commented on Gauff’s social media post, “Electric.” Gauff’s response was equally spirited as she replied, “Powwww.” For Sera, meanwhile, this must be an even more interesting surprise given his love and passion for music.

The Instagram bio of Coco Gauff’s boyfriend reads, “Artist” signifying his interest in art forms. His passion was also revealed by Gauff during an interview with Vogue, where she said, “He’s a very nice guy. He’s about to apply for music school.” Detailing his passion further, Gauff said, “He wants to be an actor and he plays the guitar.” And when it comes to music, Gauff seems to have a similar passion.

When Coco Gauff playfully revealed how music helps her calm before matches

Coco Gauff has achieved immense success on the courts. But besides her talent and skills that help her win the matches, the star player once highlighted how music also helps her prepare for her matches and overcome external stress.

In an interview during the Indian Wells Masters this year, Gauff playfully revealed her pre-match ritual. “Some people don’t know this, before I go on court I like to play loud music because I actually don’t like to hear you guys when I walk on bc it makes me nervous. So I put on music,” said the player. The American sensation also likes to listen to music while doing her household stuff and this habit gets a further boost when she is at the gym.

Revealing this in a video for USTA, Gauff shared, “I just like to listen to music, while doing whatever I’m doing. Yeah, I mean, the bike is calming. It gets repetitive for me, so I do switch it up, between the treadmill and the bike but, as long as I have music, I think it’s the most relaxing.” As she now receives a remarkable musical ode from Tyler, it would be interesting to see what lies next for the star in music.
