Diners will even be able to explore the piece using a magnifying glass, making it not just a visual statement, but an interactive experience.
Aven – recently reviewed by The Times’ Giles Coren with an outstanding 9.67 score – is quickly becoming a northern gem.
Kathryn’s profile also continues to rise. After winning Lancashire Artist of the Year 2024, she is a member of this year’s judging panel.

Her work has been celebrated by the BBC, featured in the press, and supported by a growing list of celebrities and social media personalities, all drawn to her distinctive blend of nostalgia, narrative, and northern charm.
Taste test: The award-winning Preston restaurant creating Aven-turous combinations from local produce
Kathryn said: “This collaboration reflects Aven’s commitment to showcasing local culture and creativity, and I spent months researching Preston’s rich history and community to create Prestonia.
“The piece is layered with moments that locals will love discovering – from Preston Docks, PNE, and the Adelphi pub, to the Harris Museum, Spud Bros, Winckley Square, the railway station, Fishergate Shopping Centre, St George’s Shopping Centre, and Avenham Park.
“Even Aven Restaurant itself makes a cheeky appearance, along with characters that reflect Preston’s humour, pride, and sense of place.”

Signed prints of Prestonia are available from the Kathryn Alice Art website. Hand-embellished editions are also on offer, with each being a one-of-a-kind collectible finished with extra detail in pen, ink, and glow-in-the-dark paint.
