Aspen Grove Fine Art is inviting the community to experience “What is Real: The Echoes of Ashley Collins,” a landmark exhibition that will be the most expansive collection of her work ever presented in the United States.
For two evenings, guests will be able to meet Collins in person during the private and public opening nights, where she will offer personal insights into her process and inspiration.
“Each of Collins’ powerful, large-scale mixed-media paintings is a layered meditation on time, memory, and resilience,” a press release states.
The private opening night will take place at the gallery from 5-7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 1, and the public opening reception will take place 5-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2. There will be an artist talk 6 p.m. nightly. RSVPs are required for both events and can be found for the private event here and the public event here. Space is limited.
Aspen Grove Fine Art’s exhibit with Collins helps celebrate Aspen Art Week and welcomes collectors, curators, and cultural tastemakers.
“Join us for an elegant evening of fine art, live music, and elevated cocktails sponsored by Aspen Vodka — set against the backdrop of mountain sophistication and timeless elegance,” Aspen Grove Fine Art writes.
To complement the in-gallery experience, Aspen Grove Fine Art has launched a dedicated online Viewing Room, “UNBROKEN: The Art of Ashley Collins,” live at aspengrovefineart.com. The virtual showcase offers collectors around the world a high-resolution, in-depth look at Collins’ newest body of work alongside artist commentary, process photography, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
