Farida Khalifa was one of two former housemates that returned to the iconic reality TV show on Friday, October 17.

The Wolverhampton-based makeup artist made a shock return during eviction night alongside first-night evictee Emily Hewertson.

Farida proved to be a divisive figure during her brief spell in the house in the 2023 series, notably by eating Olivia Young’s salmon during an incident where it was supposed to be “shared” between them.

After just a week in the house, she was up for eviction against Kerry Riches, and the public voted her out in the season’s first eviction.

On her decision to return, Farida said: “Firstly, I think it’s a fantastic choice. And secondly, the amount of time you put into the whole process, I didn’t really feel fulfilled – I only had a few days in there.

“The most important thing is – the audience has wanted this for such a long time.

“Even when Celebrity Big Brother was on there were rumours I was going back into the house. You’ve got to listen to your fans. I’m doing it for the fans.”

The next Big Brother episode is on tonight.
