WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Roman Reigns As “A True Artist”; Compares Success To Seth Rollins’ Rise

Booker T has compared the respective rises of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in WWE.

Initially a united front with Dean Ambrose [Jon Moxley] as part of The Shield, Rollins would break away following the shocking betrayal in 2014. Since then, both The Visionary and The Tribal Chief each carved out their own legacies with multiple championship reigns and defining moments.

Speaking about the successes of both stars on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T acknowledged the work of Rollins and Reigns whilst also admitting that he thought Rollins would go on to be the breakout star as opposed to Reigns:

“Roman is a true artist of the game and the guy’s going to do some really, really good work on both sides of the fence. You’re going to love him, and you’re going to love to hate him. I thought Seth Rollins was the guy in that group that was really, really going to break out, not that he hasn’t, Seth’s done some really, really great work. But I look at Roman, I look at his body of work and I go, ‘Ah, man, this guy really has set himself apart,’ as far as being able to go out there and be that ring general like I haven’t seen in many, many years.”

Roman Reigns & The Royal Rumble

Officially kicking off the road to WrestleMania 41 in February, the Royal Rumble will once again be one of the most anticipated shows of the year with the Men’s and Women’s Rumble matches always being a highlight. With Roman Reigns entering the show not as champion for the first time since 2020, a recent report provided an update on Royal Rumble plans.
