Love Island’s new series is nearly upon us – and one of the first contestants has reportedly been revealed. A make-up artist from Liverpool is rumoured to be one of the singles entering the ITV2 villa next month.

Lucy Quinn, 20, is set to enter the Love Island villa as a bombshell, according to the MailOnline. A source told the publication: “Lucy is single and ready to mingle. She can’t wait to enter the Love Island villa and is counting down the days until it becomes a reality.” They added that she is “fiery and doesn’t take any nonsense”, but it hoping to find the “man of her dreams” on the popular show.

The make-up artist regularly posts glamorous photos of herself on Instagram – as well as successful make-overs that she’s given to clients. She’s the second Love Island star rumoured to be entering the show this year, after fitness fanatic Aaron Buckett.

The personal trainer from London has reportedly signed up for the new series, with a source telling The Sun: “It’s a fact of life that girls go crazy for a tall lad and Aaron is a man mountain. He’s got great chat too.”

The source added: “Aaron is in the mix for this year’s cast but execs are still finalising whether he’ll be in the opening line-up or as a tempting bombshell.”

Earlier today, ITV dropped the first trailer for Love Island’s upcoming series as presenter Maya Jama teased “huge twists” ahead. In the clip, Maya said: “To the hottie this may concern, As per the last 11 Series we’re staying loyal to the entertainment and levelling up the twists.

“The stakeholders are aligned, the Islanders will be laying it on Factor 50, and we’re on track to hit our KPI on drama. It’s time to crack on and deliver serious results. Let’s circle back soon. Warmest wishes x.”

In the trailer, Maya is seen in an office decorated with a neon sign that reads, ‘Crack on,’ as well as clocks that show the time in Mallorca, Manorca, Marbella and Majorce. It’s led fans to speculate over the location for the new series.

She then says: “This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more make-ups. I want more twists. I want more twists than ever.”

Love Island season 12 will premiere this summer on ITV and ITVX.
