On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
South of France: Victor, Nikki, Sharon and Nicholas are lamenting being stuck after the storm. Victor says there is no news about when everything will be cleared up. He tries to call for a chopper but can’t get a cell signal. Nikki thinks isolating them was Cane’s plan from the very beginning. Victor agrees saying he’s trying to wear them down after he refused his offer to buy Chancellor.
Nikki wonders if Cane’s plan for taking over Chancellor involves the other guests and Victor says yes. Nicholas brings up Billy’s connection to the company but Victor says Cane has no interest in Billy Boy Abbott (I almost did a spit take when Victor said Billy Boy was simply enjoying all the free booze). Nikki wonders if Lily wants revenge for being pushed out of Chancellor. Victor thinks not as they offered her another position before she returned to her family’s company. Nikki isn’t so sure and recalls just how angry she was at the time. Nicholas recalls Lily’s reaction to Cane from the night before and Sharon backs him up. Nikki says Cane is a professional con man who learned everything he knows from his father. She thinks anything is possible and Victor suggests they keep their eyes peeled.
