Olivia, the winner of Witney Town Council’s Children’s Christmas Light Design Competition, created a snowy church scene that will be displayed on the side of the Town Hall for the Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Councillor Jane Doughty, deputy mayor of Witney, said: “Well done Olivia.
“It was a real pleasure to meet you yesterday and see your wonderful design come to life.
In a post announcing Olivia’s win, the council said: “It’s always a joy to see a young artist’s face light up when their creation comes to life.”

The competition was sponsored by Parker Bullen, whose representatives Louise and Jasmine attended the unveiling and praised the scheme.
They said: “Thanks for inviting us to be involved.
“What a wonderful idea to bring the community together…and a very worthy winner.”
Winners of the Children’s Christmas Card and Mayor’s Carol Cover competitions will be announced soon.
