For 27 years, the Denver Arts Festival has transformed Memorial Day weekend into one of Denver’s most beloved celebrations of creativity, community and culture. Returning May 23 – 24, 2026, the free outdoor festival once again takes over Conservatory Green in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood with more than 140 juried artists, live music, food vendors and interactive art experiences for all ages.
Since its founding, the festival has remained dedicated to showcasing Colorado creatives alongside select national artists across nearly every artistic medium imaginable. From painting and photography to sculpture, glasswork, fiber art and handcrafted jewelry, the Denver Arts Festival continues to offer collectors and casual art lovers alike an immersive way to connect with the region’s thriving arts community.
The 2026 festival runs Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
This year’s featured artists span an impressive range of mediums and disciplines. Among the 2026 2-D Mixed Media Artists, attendees can explore the work of Ian Anderson, whose imaginative creations blend texture and storytelling. The 3-D Mixed Media category includes Frank Baer, while painter Shane Anderson represents the festival’s standout 2-D Artists lineup.
The Fiber & Leather category highlights artists like Vera Neel, while the Glass Artists section includes Artful Elements and its vibrant handcrafted pieces. Jewelry lovers can browse Kathy Anderson’s work, while metal art enthusiasts will find industrial-inspired creations by Kris Albro.
Photography and sculpture remain major draws this year, with featured photographer Zeeshan Ali showcasing striking visual storytelling and sculptor Fred Conlon bringing larger-than-life creations to the park. Wood artist Steven Snyder rounds out a diverse lineup that continues to push the boundaries of contemporary craft and fine art.
