Snoop Dogg’s “Ashes To Art” Collection Nearly Sells Out At Auction

Snoop Dogg literally does it all. The Death Row Records icon has officially stepped into the fine art world with a collection that is as unique as it is true to his legacy. The rap legend teamed with artist Erica Kovitz to create an exclusive series built from his own smoked blunt ashes, roaches, and leftover pieces, turning them into rare works of art. Nearly every piece has already been snapped up by collectors for impressive sums.

The series, titled Ashes to Art, has been described as more than just visual pieces. It is being celebrated as history itself, preserved in resin and presented as raw, refined, and iconic. Each custom framed panel blends pop culture, Snoop’s cannabis influence, and the aesthetics of contemporary fine art, complete with professional mounting and a certificate of authenticity.

On the official collection site, the works are promoted as “a true holy grail for fine art collectors, Hip-Hop historians, and cannabis connoisseurs alike,” with the reminder that “once it’s gone, it’s gone.” By Monday morning, five of the seven creations had been marked sold. Prices started at $10,000, including Pocket High Emerald, which features a single smoked roach sealed at the center of a rich emerald green panel. At the top end, Doggystyle Decoded reached $20,000, showcasing an original copy of Snoop’s classic Doggystyle CD. Other sold pieces include Tiphany Smokes, Golden Hour Cypher, Orange Chill, and White Whisper, each drawing between $12,500 and $15,000.

Still available are two standout works. Snoop Doggy Dogg Genesis Burn currently leads the collection with a bid of $112,000. This one-of-a-kind piece is signed with Snoop’s original “Snoop Doggy Dogg” autograph and incorporates his 1993 LAPD mugshot, charred at the edges, dusted with marijuana ash, and sealed with a smoked roach burned by Snoop himself. Orange Chill also remains open at a bid of $15,000.

With the buzz surrounding the collection, Ashes to Art proves Snoop’s influence extends far beyond music and cannabis culture, carving his name into the fine art world in a way only he could.
