The Soho Fine Art Gallery, in the Royal Arcade, Norwich, will be hosting the event on Saturday, April 5, from 2pm to 4pm.

The featured artist is Joe Galindo, who is known for his impressionist-style paintings that depict wildlife.

The event will feature a large selection of his new work, giving attendees a chance to engage with his style.

He will discuss the inspiration behind his work and also his unique approach to painting.

Niall Blunnie, manager of Soho Fine Art Gallery, said, “Events like this are very exciting as people can get to speak directly to the artist to get an insight to their approach to their work and an explanation of how they create their art.”

He added, “Joe is always full of stories so I am sure it will be an entertaining afternoon and another reason for people to visit our gallery in the Royal Arcade.”

Galindo’s style is characterised by his inventive use of paints and tools to create depth and contrast.

Simon Ashdown, director of LPC1 Ltd, the company that manages the Royal Arcade Norwich, said, “The Royal Arcade is such a beautiful venue for events so we are really pleased that Soho Fine Art Gallery will be taking advantage of its location to invite people in.”

He added, “I am sure the gallery will be packed and once the event is over, visitors can pop into Marmalades, Ora or Yalm for something to eat and drink.”

More details of Galindo’s work can be found on the gallery’s website.
