Submissions Open April 16 – June 16, 2026

Will your artwork be featured on the walls of the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog this summer?

Submissions for Dog Days of Summer open April 16, 2026, inviting Museum members to share their creative vision in a juried exhibition celebrating the beauty, personality, and spirit of dogs.

This special member art exhibition, on view July 16 through September 27, 2026, will transform the Museum’s galleries into a vibrant showcase of canine-inspired creativity, from painting and drawing to sculpture and beyond.

An Opportunity to Exhibit Your Work

Selected artworks will be displayed inside the Museum’s galleries, offering artists the rare opportunity to present their work in dialogue with the Museum’s celebrated permanent collection—spanning centuries of canine representation in fine art and artifacts.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will vote daily for their favorite artwork, adding an exciting interactive element that makes every visit a chance to celebrate creativity.

  • Submission Period: April 16 – June 16, 2026
  • Exhibition Dates: July 16 – September 27, 2026
  • Maximum Artwork Size: 25” x 30”
  • Accepted Media: Painting, drawing, sculpture, and other visual art forms
