Kevin Lines, an experienced auctioneer and picture specialist, has launched Lines & Son alongside his son Freddy earlier this month.

It is an independent consultancy offering services in paintings, fine art and estate collections across Norfolk.

As part of this launch, the pair has opened a gallery space in Wymondham at Williams & Parfitt, offering clients a place to view, discuss and receive consultations.

“Launching Lines & Son is an exciting new chapter for our family,” Kevin said.

“We are proud to continue a tradition that spans three generations while offering an independent and highly personalised service to clients across Norfolk, East Anglia and beyond.

“Opening our gallery space in Wymondham also gives us the opportunity to meet clients in a relaxed and welcoming environment while showcasing exceptional works and collections.”

The Lines family is known for their reputation in fine art and antiques valuation, having served collectors, dealers and estate clients across the region for many years.

“We are looking forward to building strong relationships with clients and helping them navigate everything from single-item valuations to the management of entire collections and estates,” Freddy added.

Kevin has more than 27 years of experience at Keys of Aylsham, where his father, John Lines, also worked for more than five decades.

He later held senior roles at Bishop & Miller in Glandford and Hansons Norfolk, where he served as associate director at the Old Bakery saleroom in Roughton near Cromer.

The business will provide a range of professional services to private clients, collectors and estates, including valuations, probate support, cataloguing and collection management.
